Duties

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of work for drywall installation and finishing.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates using construction estimating software such as Heavy Bid and Bluebeam, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, gather accurate measurements, and evaluate logistical considerations for drywall work.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Monitor project progress and implement cost control measures to stay within budget parameters.
• Review contracts and scope of work documents to ensure clarity and alignment with project goals.

Skills

• Proficiency in construction estimating software such as Heavy Bid and Bluebeam is essential.
