About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated Pediatric Dental Assistant with 2+ years of experience to join our team-oriented practice. You’ll work Monday through Thursday in a friendly, positive atmosphere that values work-life balance and puts patient comfort first.
Key Responsibilities- Manage patient behavior to ensure a calm, reassuring experience for children and parents
- Communicate effectively with parents about treatment plans and post-care instructions
- Assist the dentist with exams, assist the hygienist with patient intake, taking x-rays, coronal polishing, and application of fluoride.
- Prepare operatories and treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric dental assisting experience
- Coronal Polish Certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) credential preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient-focused mindset
- Competitive salary range: $39,000 - $43,000 per year
