Senior Dental Receptionist Health & PTO

Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Dental Receptionist with 2+ years of experience to join our patient-centered, team-oriented practice. As the first point of contact, you’ll ensure a smooth and welcoming experience while handling insurance verification, benefit breakdowns, and coordinating hygiene appointments.

• Greet patients, manage check-ins, and handle phone inquiries with professionalism
• Verify dental insurance coverage and communicate benefit details
• Oversee hygiene schedules and follow up on care plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and update insurance information
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient experience
• Support front desk operations on alternating Fridays and Saturdays (5 days/week)

• Minimum 2 years of dental receptionist or front office experience - must have experience filling hygiene schedule
• In-depth knowledge of dental insurance terminology, billing processes, and claim submission
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Familiarity with dental practice management software preferred
• Availability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and alternating Fridays/Saturdays
