We’re seeking an experienced, energetic designer for our client who is ready to take ownership of projects from concept through completion, creating not just stunning spaces, but an exceptional client experience every step of the way. As part of our client’s transparent, progressive, and tight-knit team, you’ll bring ideas to life, managing everything from concept development and schematic design to client communication and project management.

Responsibilities
  • Work independently with guidance from Principal Designer to develop design intent and material selections.
  • Prepare and produce high-level design presentations.
  • Develop plans, elevations, and renderings that illustrate the design intent and use of materials.
  • Create detailed proposals that maximize the client’s budget and timeline while ensuring profitability.
  • Use AutoCAD to create detailed working drawing sets of floor plans, elevations, and space planning.
  • Lead client installations and work closely with our operations team on the advanced planning and logistics leading up to the installation to create a "wow" experience for clients.
  • Monitor progress and attend job site reviews during construction.
  • Lead meetings and presentations with client and industry partners.
  • Maintain vendor relationships, request quotes and estimates, and ensure quality standards.
  • Develop and manage client, builder, and architect relationships that foster trust and referrals.
  • Take initiative, solve problems, collaborate, and proactively communicate with clients, the design team, and the operations team to ensure every project is a success.

4-5 weeks per year travel required.

Qualifications
  • Degree from an accredited interior design program
  • 5+ years of interior design experience in commercial/hospitality design, residential experience a plus
  • Advanced working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experienced in leading client presentations, both in person and via Zoom
  • Advanced aesthetic and technical design capabilities with fierce attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, high follow-through, and deadline-driven
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
