The Honor Health Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated Neuro-Epileptologist to join our world-class team and provide clinical leadership for the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) program at the Honor Health Osborn Medical Center.

With the upcoming ASU School of Medicine and Advanced Medical Engineering, opening in 2026, this is a truly unique opportunity to engage in cutting‑edge medical education and research in collaboration with a top‑tier university known for innovation. Under the leadership of Dean Sarah Hollingsworth "Holly" Lisanby, MD, a renowned neuropsychiatrist, the school will bring world‑class research and innovation to the Honor Health Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute, fostering advancements in neuroscience and patient care.

Under Dr. Lisanby’s leadership, the school will focus on integrating biomedical science, engineering, and healthcare technology, shaping the next generation of physicians advancing the future of patient care.

Bob Bove’ Neuroscience Institute opened its doors on May 17th, 2021. Located on the Honor Health Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center campus in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona, the Institute is the state’s newest multidisciplinary destination for complete and coordinated neurological care, support services, and research, all in one location.

State‑of‑the‑art facility with nearly 120,000 square feet of space provides access to top neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation providers, and therapists for collaborative treatment.

• Interpret EEGs, video‑EEG monitoring, ambulatory EEGs, and other neurophysiologic studies with high accuracy and timely reporting.
• Participate in multidisciplinary epilepsy care, including case conferences, pre‑surgical evaluations, and collaborative decision‑making with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neuropsychology.
• Oversee EMU operations, safety, protocols, and quality metrics.
• Collaborate on surgical candidacy evaluations including intracranial monitoring, RNS, DBS, VNS, and resective procedures.
• Track and improve key quality indicators (EMU safety, seizure‑free rates post‑intervention, readmissions, throughput).
• No general neurology in‑patient requirements – separate neuro‑hospitalist service.
• Optional:
  Participate in clinical trials, translational research, or quality improvement projects aligned with epilepsy care.
• Contribute to publications, presentations, or grant activity depending on academic interest.
• Engage with Nurse Navigators.
