Bob Bove’ Neuroscience Institute opened its doors on May 17th, 2021. Located on the Honor Health Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center campus in beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona, the Institute is the state’s newest multidisciplinary destination for complete and coordinated neurological care, support services, and research, all in one location.
State‑of‑the‑art facility with nearly 120,000 square feet of space provides access to top neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, physical medicine and rehabilitation providers, and therapists for collaborative treatment.
Position Description- Interpret EEGs, video‑EEG monitoring, ambulatory EEGs, and other neurophysiologic studies with high accuracy and timely reporting.
- Participate in multidisciplinary epilepsy care, including case conferences, pre‑surgical evaluations, and collaborative decision‑making with neurosurgery, neuroradiology, and neuropsychology.
- Oversee EMU operations, safety, protocols, and quality metrics.
- Collaborate on surgical candidacy evaluations including intracranial monitoring, RNS, DBS, VNS, and resective procedures.
- Track and improve key quality indicators (EMU safety, seizure‑free rates post‑intervention, readmissions, throughput).
- No general neurology in‑patient requirements – separate neuro‑hospitalist service.
- Optional:
Participate in clinical trials, translational research, or quality improvement projects aligned with epilepsy care. - Contribute to publications, presentations, or grant activity depending on academic interest.
