You Will:
- Responsible for the administration of physician schedules through the Qgenda system.
- Manages Radiologists scheduled and unscheduled absences and secures appropriate staff or locums coverage based on skillset and subspecialty required for site coverage.
- Maintains Resident coverage roster and coordinates coverage for practice locations.
- Relays information regarding concerns relative to physicians beyond authority, which could impact the quality of care of service that we provide or disrupt site operations to operations leadership and executive management, including HR, legal and compliance.
- Assists operations and executive leadership as needed with special assignments and special projects related to physician relations/services.
- Demonstrates initiative and creativity in promoting positive physician relations, responding to questions and needs of physicians on a timely basis.
- Assists operations management as needed in long‑range planning, communications, and other tasks. Remains informed of Rad Net policies and general environmental conditions to provide input and propose solutions.
- Assists with invoicing for Independent Contractors, locums agencies and outside services.
- Maintains absolute and strict confidentiality with all material and information pertaining to all patients, personnel, and/or projects associated with physician scheduling.
- Create, organize, and maintain files.
- Passionate about patient care and exercise sound judgement and an ability to remain professional in all situations.
- You demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills and respect with patients, guests & colleagues.
- You have a structured work‑approach, understand complex problems and you are able to prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must have and use excellent time management and organizational and skills in order to coordinate various simultaneous high‑level responsibilities.
- Exhibits a strong sense of urgency and ability to follow through while multi‑tasking.
- Experience in Excel, Word, Outlook, QGenda, Online Meetings.
- Must have strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience in evaluating and ensuring physician capabilities meet facility/modality needs and exhibits the ability to assess areas where adjustments can be made and/or makes executive leadership aware of concerns relative to physician productivity and capability.
- Must be detail‑oriented, highly organized, and able to interact effectively with doctors, vendors, peers, staff and management.
- Understands how external forces in the healthcare industry affect physician relations.
- Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision‑making to achieve department and organizational objectives.
- Ability to share information effectively, appropriately and in a timely manner as well as provide appropriate direction to team members.
- Ability to maintain proactive relationship with current and prospective physicians.
- Demonstrates leadership skills in interactions with senior management.
- Maintains a “team” mentality within clinical operations and as a member of the physician management team.
- A four‑year degree in business administration or health care administration or 3 plus years of experience in the radiology service industry and/or physician relations/management experience is highly preferable.
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule (hours of operation and special circumstances can vary significantly).
