Our client is seeking an
* High School Special Education Resource Teacher (Math Endorsement)

• Bachelor's degree in special education or a related field.
• AZ Teacher certification with Math endorsement.

• Prior experience in special education or teaching, especially at the high school level.
• Familiarity with IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act) and Arizona state laws related to special education.
• Understanding of various disabilities and how they impact learning and behavior.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for students with disabilities, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Provide specialized instruction in math and other subjects, using evidence‑based strategies tailored to students’ individual needs.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate students' academic progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Implement behavioral intervention plans (BIPs) for students exhibiting challenging behaviors.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress, IEP meetings, and assessments.
