Special Ed Teacher | Scottsdale, Arizona

An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support a small, diverse classroom of 3rd and 4th-grade students at a school in Scottsdale, AZ. This full-time, onsite contract position spans from ASAP until May 21, 2026, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact within a supportive educational environment.

• Provide specialized instruction tailored to approximately 4 students with varied disabilities and behaviors.
• Collaborate closely with para educator staff to support student learning and behavior.
• Manage and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) effectively.
• Maintain consistent communication with families and school staff.
• Adapt instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of each student.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed.
• Comply with all school policies and state special education regulations.

• Current Arizona Special Education Educator Certification required.
• Comfortable working with a diverse range of disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Must possess an IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Experience teaching special education at the elementary level preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:15 AM 4:15 PM
• Wednesday: 8:15 AM 2:00 PM (early student release)
