Overview

Code Ninjas Scottsdale is looking for Computer Science Tutor/Instructors to join our team.

Location: 14891 N Northsight Blvd #129 Scottsdale, Arizona 85260

Position: Computer Science Tutor/Instructor

Hours and Compensation: Part Time, 5-15 hours/week | $15.00 - $16.00 per hour depending on experience | Hours of Operation:
Weekdays 2p - 8p, including Saturdays 9a-4p

• Training – go through the curriculum and learn it
• Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
• Work with multiple children simultaneously on different curriculum paths and provide customized tutoring based on each child’s learning style
• Provide feedback to parents after working with a student
• Follow opening/closing duties daily
• Maintain cleanliness of the center throughout the day
• Report weekly to Center Director on progress
• Report daily to Center Director with respect to day’s activities and productivity in center

• Must be outgoing, energetic, and an extrovert
• Experience with children ages 7 and up (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
• Experience working with the general public
• Experience in teaching, mentoring or child care
• Team player who collaborates well with others
• Able to quickly pick up basic concepts
• Fun to work with and able to thrive in fast-paced environments where requirements can change
