POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The job of Teacher on Assignment is done for the purpose(s) of assisting and supporting teachers, staff and administration.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitator of Meetings for Teachers
• Mentor Teachers (New and experienced)
• Support Administrators of teacher
• Work on Curriculum Mapping with teachers and team
• Update Curriculum Maps on district Website
• Attend along with team state and national conferences
• Work closely with the team to develop PD for teachers and Para's
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCES: (position in this class typically require)

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution
• AZ Department of Education Teaching Certificate
• DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Positions in this class typically require: reaching, standing, walking, finger dexterity, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. Medium Work:
Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
