ABOUT MFUSED

Mfused is a high-growth cannabis manufacturing company built by operators, not spectators. We design, produce, and scale cannabis products in one of the most competitive and regulated industries in the United States.

Brief Description

Mfused is a high-growth cannabis manufacturing company built by operators, not spectators. We design, produce, and scale cannabis products in one of the most competitive and regulated industries in the United States.

We move fast, test constantly, and expect results. Titles do not sell products. Training that moves the needle does. Everything we do in the field must ultimately translate into stronger relationships, better product knowledge, and increased sell-through at retail.

As we scale, we are investing in disciplined, high-impact training that actually changes behavior on the sales floor. This role exists because we believe education drives confidence, confidence drives recommendations, and recommendations drive revenue.

Mfused is not a finished product. It is a company in motion.

THE ROLE

The Training Specialist owns how Mfused shows up in retail education.

This is not a passive learning and development role. This is a front-line, externally facing position responsible for building, delivering, and scaling training that directly impacts retail performance and sales outcomes.

You will design and deliver budtender training both in person and online, lead train-the-trainer programs, and serve as the primary educator for high-profile retail partners. You will also own the onboarding and certification of Field Marketing Coordinators (FMCs), ensuring they are confident educators, strong brand ambassadors, and effective drivers of engagement.

This role is measured by results. Training exists to increase revenue. If sales do not move, the work is not done.

Budtender Training and Education Delivery
  • Design and deliver engaging budtender training programs focused on product knowledge, brand storytelling, competitive differentiation, and confident recommendations.
  • Build and maintain online training modules using Seed Talent to scale education across markets.
  • Deliver in-person training for key accounts, priority partners, and high-visibility retail locations.
  • Continuously refresh content to reflect new products, market feedback, and competitive shifts.
Train-the-Trainer and FMC Enablement
  • Own the Field Marketing Coordinator onboarding and certification program.
  • Train FMCs on how to lead engaging, interactive training sessions both in person and virtually.
  • Teach FMCs how to read the room, adapt messaging, and connect with different audiences.
  • Certify FMCs on product knowledge, training delivery, brand standards, and professionalism before they enter the field.
Training Strategy, Measurement, and Revenue Impact
  • Track and report on training activity, including number of sessions delivered, number of attendees trained, and market coverage.
  • Partner with sales and marketing leadership to assess whether training programs are driving lift in sales, velocity, and brand pull-through.
  • Analyze training outcomes and recommend changes to content, delivery, or focus areas to improve revenue impact.
  • Treat training as a commercial lever, not a checkbox.
Brand, Product, and Competitive Expertise
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert on Mfused products, brand positioning, and competitive landscape.
  • Ensure all training reinforces consistent messaging, value propositions, and selling points.
  • Stay close to the market to understand retailer needs, objections, and opportunities.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Field teams to align training priorities with commercial goals.
  • Support internal training for new FMCs and train-the-trainer events as the program scales.
  • Provide feedback from the field to inform product development, marketing campaigns, and sales strategy.
Who You Are

You are an educator with a commercial mindset. You are energized by being in front of people, telling a compelling story, and seeing behavior change in real time.

You are comfortable owning a room, reading an audience, and adjusting on the fly. You understand that great training is interactive, memorable,…
