This full-time, onsite opportunity is ideal for a compassionate, student-centered professional who is passionate about supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs. In this role, you'll work closely with students, educators, and support staff to implement behavior interventions, teach self-regulation skills, and help students develop the social-emotional tools needed for success both inside and outside the classroom.
Position Details:- Position: Behavior Coach / Interventionist
- Location: Onsite in Maricopa County, AZ
- Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
- Hours: 40 hours per week

- Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and behavioral support strategies developed by the student support team.
- Provide direct 1:1 and small-group behavioral support to students throughout the school day.
- Teach and reinforce social skills, communication skills, self-regulation strategies, and coping skills.
- Utilize positive behavior supports, reinforcement systems, and de-escalation techniques to promote student success.
- Collect and maintain behavioral data to monitor student progress and support intervention planning.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to ensure consistency of supports across environments.
- Model effective behavioral strategies and classroom supports for school staff.
- Assist with crisis prevention and intervention using approved safety procedures and protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support compliance with district requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Behavioral Science, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional needs in a school or educational setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of behavior intervention strategies, positive behavior supports, and de-escalation techniques
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and data collection skills
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card and driver's license required
- NCI certification required or ability to obtain
- Must meet all district onboarding requirements
