Project Manager, Systems Engineer

Compensation
: $115,000 - $145,000 base salary. Exact compensation will depend on individual experience, education, and related skills.

Insight Global is seeking an Engineering Program Manager to join a public safety electronics manufacturer in Scottsdale, AZ! This position supports hardware & robotics program execution from prototype to production by partnering with Electrical, Mechanical, Firmware, Systems, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams.

• Build and maintain detailed program schedules across hardware, firmware, and manufacturing work streams
• Track milestones for EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp
• Monitor critical path items and elevate risks early
• Ensure cross-functional dependencies are visible and aligned
• Support preparation for design reviews, build readiness reviews, and executive updates
• Cooperate prototype builds, test events, and validation milestones
• Track engineering action items and ensure follow-through
• Help align hardware and firmware development timelines for system integration
• Maintain issue logs and structured problem tracking
• Support program interface with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
• Track tooling readiness, material availability, and build schedules
• Coordinate NPI milestones with Operations and Supply Chain
• Monitor long-lead components and support mitigation planning
• Maintain program dashboards and status reporting
• Document risks, assumptions, and mitigation plans
• Facilitate recurring cross-functional meetings
• Ensure stakeholders have clear, accurate program visibility

• 3+ years of experience in engineering project coordination, engineering program management, or hardware development support
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
• Understanding/Exposure to hardware development life cycles

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in robotics, drone/UAV, or electro-mechanical products
• Experience supporting NPI
• Proficiency with program/project management tools like Smartsheet, Jira, MS Project, or similar
