Electrical Engineer II - Test

Overview

This position is for an Electrical Engineer II with at least 2 years of professional experience working in hands‑on multidisciplinary teams. The role is 100% onsite in Scottsdale, Arizona.

• Design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Directorate.
• Develop both engineering and production test systems, interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematic creation, and circuit design and analysis.
• Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
• Act as part of a team or independently to uncover and resolve issues related to development and implementation of test products.

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience or an advanced degree.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required.
• Experience with electrical engineering troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficiency with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Experience with schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.

• Master of Science degree in STEM; ABET accreditation preferred.
• Technical leadership experience in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience in analog, digital, RF design and in designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed‑signal, and electrical system interconnects.
• Knowledge of integrated development environments, debugging tools, and software troubleshooting.
• Self‑starter with workload management and deadline met.
• Teamwork, technical writing, formal presentation, and project management experience.
• Bid and proposal experience; knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization.
• Programming language development and implementation experience.
• Experience with RTX projects, programs, or systems.
• Root‑cause analysis and UUT configuration skills.

Salary range: $68,900 – $131,100 per year. Security clearance type:
Secret (DoD). A secret clearance is required and must be obtained prior to the start date. The position requires a U.S. citizen eligible for security clearance.
