Advanced Engineering TechnicianActive Secret Clearance Required.
On site:
Scottsdale AZ. W2 hourly rate: $29.72 to $33.44 DOE
* plus shift differential. Openings for both 2nd and 3rd shift.
As an Engineering Technician in this team you'll work with Engineering, Operations Support and individuals in other departments to support engineering activities including design, test, check-out, modification, fabrication and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, laser/light transmission devices or specialized test equipment.
Responsibilities- Interpreting basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics.
- Constructing, modifying, debugging, troubleshooting, calibrating, testing and adjusting a variety of tools, equipment and systems.
- Conducting, analyzing and documenting statistically based experiments to define process parameters.
- Implementing and documenting complex solutions for process improvement.
- Designing and constructing basic tooling and fixtures to accomplish unique tasks.
- Organizing, analyzing and interpreting data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolution/process improvement.
- An Active DoD Secret (or higher level) Clearance.
- Associate's degree in a related discipline or equivalent plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. (If no degree, 6 years of relevant experience with a HS diploma.)
- Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools.
- Ability to fabricate complex hardware.
- Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory.
Rates listed are not a guarantee of salary/rate. Rate offered at time of hire will depend on many factors including education, experience, interview results and skill level. A shift differential will be added for any 2nd or 3rd shift roles. US Citizenship and an Active Clearance are required for consideration.
