Design Engineer

A defense manufacturer in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Product Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This organization supports mission-critical programs for the U.S. military and allied forces, delivering hardware that performs in the most demanding environments in the world.

• Lead product design and development from concept through manufacturing release
• Develop and maintain detailed 3D models, drawings, and documentation
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including operations, production, and program management
• Ensure designs meet applicable military and industry standards
• Support design reviews, testing, and continuous product improvement initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of product design engineering experience
• Proficiency in Creo Parametric required
• Experience designing to Mil Spec standards strongly preferred
• Consumer products background a plus
• Strong understanding of GD&T, DFM, and engineering documentation standards

Compensation: $110,000 - $140,000 depending on experience

Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ
