- Provides technical expertise within the packaging functional team.
- Identifies and assesses complex technical problems and provides solutions and recommendations.
- Manages divisional packaging priorities and resources.
- Holds a technical leadership role on the packaging functional team by developing and inspiring technical competency.
- Provides clear technical direction and sets priorities for package engineering direct reports (range of 0-5 reports).
- Serves as a technical mentor to junior engineers.
- Ability to execute projects on time and on budget without guidance from manager.
- Proactively anticipates issues and determines contingency plans.
- Sets up realistic timelines and testing plans.
- Works well with cross functional partners to execute projects with excellence.
- Tenaciously attacks programs and is committed to achieving goals, through obstacles, issues and surprises.
- Able to change direction quickly if needed.
- Sets high standards of performance.
