Our client is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer / Project Manager to lead land development and infrastructure projects across the U.S. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for managing projects from planning and design through construction, while ensuring quality, cost control, and on‑time delivery.
You’ll work closely with internal teams, clients, and external partners, while also mentoring junior staff and helping drive project success from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects (land/site development, roadways, water systems, sewer, and drainage)
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and overall performance
- Prepare and review proposals, contracts, drawings, specifications, and reports
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to keep projects moving forward
- Monitor progress, quality, and costs, and address any issues as they arise
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulations
- Conduct site visits/inspections and provide technical support to field teams
- Identify risks and implement solutions to keep projects on track
- Lead and mentor engineers, designers, and technical staff
- Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Support continuous improvement of processes and project execution
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 10+ years of experience in civil engineering and project management (land development preferred)
- Strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and practices
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HEC-RAS, or similar tools
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
