Mechanical Engineer For Land And Air Systems

As a mechanical engineer for Land and Air Systems, you'll be a member or lead of a cross functional team responsible for the design and development of Navigation, Communications and Control systems.

• Provides technical input to Project or Engineering Management in linking project-related strategy to business goals and collaboration with cross-functional domains including Other Engineering Disciplines, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance.
• Very solid with solid modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and accompanying drawings.
• Very solid knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools (ANSYS) and understanding of application.
• Very solid knowledge of mechanical engineering concepts, principles, and theories.
• Very solid knowledge of technical standards, manufacturing/fabrication methods, government/industry standards.
• Familiarity with and ability to apply MIL-STD-810.
