The RoleWe're looking for a Cell Design & Development Engineer to lead the design and development of commercial battery cells from concept through scale-up. You'll work at the intersection of R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and product teams to deliver high-performance cells at scale.
What You'll Bring- 10+ years of battery cell design & development experience
- Experience with large-format cells (6
Ah+, ideally 20
Ah+ pouch cells) - Li-Metal experience preferred;
Silicon or Silicon/Graphite also considered - Strong understanding of cell manufacturing processes and scale-up
- Exposure to High-Nickel NCM cathode chemistries
- Ability to balance performance, cost, and manufacturability trade-offs
- Work on cutting-edge Li-Metal battery technology
- Collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and leadership teams
