What You'll Do:- Design, develop, test, and support advanced digital hardware systems and electronic equipment.
- Create and maintain complex schematics and printed circuit board (PCB) designs.
- Develop multilayer PCB layouts incorporating controlled impedance routing and blind micro-via technologies.
- Analyze and troubleshoot signal integrity, crosstalk, and high-speed digital circuit performance.
- Support the design and integration of processors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to less experienced engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet evolving customer requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to future technology development efforts.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- Min 8 years of digital hardware design experience; or Master's degree with Min 6 years of digital hardware design experience, along with the following:
- Experience with schematic capture and electronic hardware development.
- Experience designing multilayer printed circuit boards with controlled impedance requirements.
- Experience performing signal integrity analysis, crosstalk analysis, and hardware verification.
- Experience working with microprocessors, microcontrollers, FPGAs, and SoC architectures.
- Experience troubleshooting and validating complex digital hardware designs.
- Experience using Mentor Graphics or similar advanced PCB design tools.
- High-reliability electronics, aerospace, defense, or space-program experience.
- Experience performing worst-case analysis and stress analysis.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring capabilities.
