SummaryProvides analytical, reporting, and business support to strengthen financial performance across UNACEM North America. The role ensures accurate financial analysis, supports budgeting and forecasting cycles, and delivers insights that improve decision‑making for operations, supply chain, and corporate functions. Contributes to business performance by maintaining financial reports, validating data, and supporting variance analysis with clarity and discipline.
Purpose- Ensure reliable financial information, analysis, and reporting that supports operational decisions, strengthen performance management and contribute to business planning.
- Provide timely data, clear insights, and structured analysis to plant teams, supply chain, accounting, and finance leaders.
- Identify financial status by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
- Maintain and update monthly and quarterly financial analysis reports and presentations.
- Support operations management in tracking and interpreting financial data relevant to departments and plants.
- Assist the supply chain group in the analysis of inventory trends and recommend improvements based on data.
- Participate in the creation of annual budgets for all operating units and in subsequent reporting and variance analysis.
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analysis required by the Budget and Management Reporting Manager.
- Ensure data validation processes are applied and documented to maintain the accuracy of financial information.
- Organize financial information to support planning, forecasting, and operational reviews.
- Collaborate with plant leadership, supply chain, accounting, and treasury teams to ensure alignment of data and reporting.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting tools, templates, and financial processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong foundational knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles and cost structures.
- Working knowledge of Excel with advanced functions and capability to build structured financial models.
- Understanding of inventory flows, operational drivers and financial metrics in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of data validation methods, basic SQL and reporting tools.
- Understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes.
- Interprets financial data to identify gaps, risks and opportunities.
- Applies analytical judgment to compare actuals versus plan, explaining variances with clarity.
- Adapts reporting structures to dynamic business needs and plant specific requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Two to four years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, reporting or related roles.
- Experience conducting variance analysis, building reports and working with operational data.
- Experience using Excel and basic SQL.
- Full proficiency in English
- Identifies inconsistencies in data and applies validation steps to correct or elevate issues.
- Regular interaction with plant management, supervisors, supply chain and accounting teams.
- Close collaboration with corporate finance, treasury and operations leads.
- Supports leaders by preparing financial insights, analysis and structured reporting.
- Provides clear information that facilitates operational decisions and business reviews.
