Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $125,000 to $130,000 per year.

• Oversee month end close activities, including reconciliations and preparation of financial statements.
• Coordinate audit processes by supporting financial, tax, and retirement related reviews.
• Manage accounts payable operations and ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions.
• Support financial analysis by assisting with operational metrics and reporting needs.
• Participate in system transitions and assist with implementation of new accounting platforms.

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 4+ years of accounting experience with exposure to financial reporting and close processes.
• Previous experience supporting audit activities and working with external auditors.
• Background in healthcare or similar regulated industries.
• Prior experience in mergers and acquisitions or working in investment backed environments.

• Certified public accountant credential.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for working with cross functional teams and leadership.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
• Proactive and adaptable work style with the ability to support system and process changes.
