Overview
The Private Wealth Management (PWM) Client Services Team Leader leads the support staff that provides service to Private Wealth Management, Trust, Banking, and Investment clients. The role serves as the primary point of contact between clients and U.S. Bank, overseeing day‑to‑day client calls, transactions, and problem resolutions, and ultimately maximizing client satisfaction and driving relationship expansion.
Responsibilities- Leads and manages a team of associates who handle client calls, transactions, and issue resolution.
- Maintains the service and support team functioning as the primary contact with Wealth Management, Trust, Banking, and Investment clients.
- Escalates items beyond specific authority to the assigned PWM Advisor or specialist.
- Proactively identifies potential problems, compliance issues or fraud to protect clients and the bank.
- Develops working knowledge of assigned account portfolios through frequent client contact.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Typically a minimum of five years of banking experience.
- At least one year of experience managing a team.
- Accountable and able to work independently while managing a team.
- Excellent service and issue‑resolution orientation.
- Effective communicator with a consultative approach who can influence others to support objectives.
