Lead Analyst, Single Family Residential Property Tax
We are seeking a Lead Analyst to assist the Manager, Analyst in daily client service activities while functioning with limited direct supervision. The Lead Analyst mentors Analysts and Senior Analysts, reviews their work, and ensures optimal utilization, creating positive team member experiences and excellent client service that drives revenue and profit.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to client inquiries and requests from tax authorities.
- Understand and utilize applicable software and One Source Property Tax Systems.
- Manage and monitor the group’s daily workflows to meet internal and state mandated deadlines.
- Prioritize, delegate, and manage emergencies to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Formulate and implement new procedures to handle new or changing filing/processing requirements.
- Attend or conduct internal or external training sessions.
- Review team time and expense reports for accuracy and completion.
- Mentor and train staff on software platforms.
- Assist with development and deployment of system enhancements.
- Keep abreast of changing state statutes and act accordingly.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High‑school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree highly recommended.
- Minimum of three years of external property tax experience, or sustained proficiency in key performance indicators for the prior level.
- Demonstrated leadership, problem‑solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple assignments, and handle ambiguity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.
- Thorough understanding and working knowledge of applicable software and One Source Property Tax Systems.
- Valid driver’s license.
