We're looking for a detail-oriented, customer-focused Loan Officer Assistant to support our team throughout the mortgage process—from pre-qualification to closing. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, stays organized, and provides exceptional service every step of the way. Previous broker processing experience is strongly preferred.

• Input contracts and set up new loan files
• Collect upfront documentation and submit files for conditional approval
• Review income and asset documentation during the pre-qualification process
• Update the Loan Origination System (LOS) to ensure it matches the broker file and maintain accurate CRM records
• Submit TBD files for underwriting approval
• Send weekly loan status updates to all parties involved in the transaction
• Manage the loan pipeline and monitor critical deadlines
• Research broker products and underwriting guidelines to assist with loan structuring
• Support loan structuring and provide product recommendations
• Monitor and manage the team email inbox
• Request client referrals and online reviews
• Deliver exceptional, five-star customer service throughout the loan process

• Mortgage industry experience required
• Broker processing experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with mortgage guidelines and loan documentation
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple files in a fast-paced environment
