Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst, Corporate Finance
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, intellectually curious Senior/Manager FP&A Analyst (Individual Contributor) to join our growing finance team. This role serves as a key partner to the CFO and to the Senior Director of Finance, strengthening and scaling our financial planning & analysis function. It is a hands‑on senior‑level individual contributor position with meaningful visibility and influence – not a traditional people‑management role.
The role will provide oversight and guidance to a junior analyst while directly supporting executive leadership, private‑equity stakeholders, and lenders. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of progressive experience across public accounting (valuation or transaction advisory preferred), corporate FP&A, or private‑equity‑backed environments. We are looking for a strategic thinker, not an order taker, eager to contribute to “the art of the possible.”
Immediate need: start immediately.
- Lead annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
- Build and maintain dynamic 3‑statement financial models.
- Develop long‑range planning models and scenario analyses.
- Perform detailed variance analysis with clear, actionable insights.
- Support strategic initiatives and capital allocation decisions.
- Play a lead role in evaluating and deploying a budgeting/forecasting platform (e.g., Adaptive, Dynamics module, Anaplan, SAP SAC, Oracle Hyperion).
- Support implementation, data integration, and reporting architecture.
- Improve financial reporting processes and automation.
- Build scalable dashboards and KPI reporting.
- Prepare board‑ready reporting materials.
- Support presentations to private‑equity partners, lenders, and senior leadership.
- Deliver concise financial storytelling with executive‑level clarity.
- Partner cross‑functionally with department leaders.
- Provide oversight and mentorship to a junior FP&A analyst.
- Support M&A, due diligence, or strategic finance initiatives.
- 6+ years of experience in FP&A, transaction advisory, valuation, or related finance roles.
- BA in Finance, Business or Data Analytics, or related degree; equivalent experience acceptable.
- Strong financial modeling skills (advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience participating in corporate budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Exposure to private‑equity‑backed and/or performance‑driven environments.
- Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and confidently.
- Comfort interacting with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
- Experience with professional services or tech‑enabled consulting business models in a PE‑backed setting.
- Public accounting and/or finance background (valuation or transaction advisory preferred).
- Experience deploying or implementing a budgeting/forecasting tool.
- Experience with systems such as Adaptive Planning, Microsoft Dynamics, Anaplan, SAP SAC, or Oracle Hyperion.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA.
- Intellectually curious and proactive problem solver.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, evolving, PE‑sponsored environment.
- Someone who challenges assumptions thoughtfully.
- Comfortable presenting to sophisticated financial stakeholders.
- Technologically curious, including interest in AI‑driven financial workflows.
- High ownership mentality with strong accountability.
- In‑office role (3+ days/week).
- Performance‑driven culture valuing outcomes over attendance.
- High visibility and direct mentorship from a CFO with deep FP&A expertise and a Senior Director of Finance.
- Direct exposure to private‑equity stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Opportunity to build and shape the FP&A infrastructure from the ground up.
- Immediate impact in a high‑growth, PE‑sponsored environment.
- Mentorship from a CFO and a Senior Director of Finance who have guided the firm through partnership transitions.
