The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for managing loan files from application through closing. This position pulls and analyzes credit applicant information and reviews income and asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Transaction Coordinator requests and obtains referrals from current and potential company clients.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. 1 year of experience, preferred. Experience in current conventional fixed and ARM, HELOC, and construction mortgage loan processing or origination experience, preferred. Knowledge of RESPA and all mortgage and consumer lending regulations and loan documents, preferred. Encompass experience, preferred. State and Federal NMLS License, desired. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in DU, LP, Microsoft Office & Windows.
Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000
- Primary contact and liaison between clients, Branch Manager, Branch Sales Manager and/or assigned Loan Originator(s).
- Review documentation received within 24 hours of receipt for discrepancies, omissions, verified income calculation, asset verification, and Encompass updates based on verified information; immediately notify Loan Originators of discrepancies found on documentation.
- Track all requested documents in Encompass.
- Collaborate with Loan Originators in resolving problems in files and documents.
- Run DU, stacks and submits files, requests and clears conditions.
- Efficiently meet deadlines while maintaining multiple assignments/projects.
- Provide superior customer service both internally and externally.
- Communicate with both borrowers and realtors.
- Available to work varying hours and overtime if needed.
Compensation:
$45,000-$60,000 per year
