Mortgage Loan Officer

Zillow is seeking a Remote Mortgage Loan Officer to guide customers through home financing across our nationwide marketplace. In this fully remote role, you'll manage a pipeline of purchase and refinance loans, from application through closing, ensuring compliance with lending regulations and investor guidelines. You'll analyze credit, income, and property data, present loan options, and provide clear, timely communication. You'll collaborate with underwriting, processing, and sales teams, leverage Zillow's digital tools and data, and contribute feedback to enhance workflows and customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end mortgage loan origination from application through closing
• Evaluate borrower credit, income, assets, and property data to determine eligibility
• Advise customers on mortgage products, rates, and terms aligned with their goals
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and investor lending regulations and guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation and data in LOS and CRM systems
• Collaborate with underwriting, processing, and sales teams to resolve conditions
• Provide timely, clear communication to customers and partners throughout the process
• Use Zillow's digital tools and data to prioritize pipeline and improve efficiency
• Meet or exceed production, quality, and customer satisfaction targets
• Contribute feedback to improve processes, tools, and customer experience
