International Reporting Manager

Scottsdale, Arizona, United States

The Role

The International Accounting & Finance Manager serves as the financial anchor at HQ for current and future international subsidiaries. This role oversees international controllership, multi-currency consolidations, FX impacts, and financial reporting while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and operational metrics.

This is not a traditional transactional accounting role. The focus is on reviewing and interpreting financial results, ensuring financial integrity, and partnering with international General Managers (GMs) to help them understand and grow their businesses.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical accounting expertise with the forward-looking mindset of a financial analyst and trusted business partner.

Employee Value Proposition

This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape how Finance partners with international markets. The individual will gain broad exposure across accounting, finance, international operations, and business strategy while becoming a key resource for both GMs and corporate leadership.

Hybrid accounting and finance roles like this are uncommon and provide an opportunity to build a unique skill set with significant visibility, learning, and growth potential.

Key Performance Objective

Become the trusted financial partner to international GMs and the corporate SME for international accounting and finance.

Success means bridging the gap between corporate Finance and international markets—providing accurate financial information, meaningful business insights, and practical guidance that enables effective decision-making and organizational growth.

  • Review international financial statements and prepare internal reporting.
  • Manage multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations, FX translations and revaluations, and intercompany activity.
  • Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP and corporate accounting policies.

Planning & Performance Analysis

  • Partner with GMs and FP&A on budgets, forecasts, and financial planning.
  • Analyze market performance, including margins, unit economics, retention, and promotional ROI.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and recommend actions to improve performance.

International Expansion

  • Support financial modeling, capital planning, localized pricing, and ERP setup for new markets.
  • Partner cross-functionally on statutory, tax, supply chain, inventory, landed-cost, and operational requirements.
  • Help establish scalable financial processes for current and future international subsidiaries.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and experience with mid-to-large-tier cloud ERP platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
