SBA Credit Analyst, Level 6

• Approve extensions of credit and/or make recommendations to final lending decision-makers for new, renewal, and extension loans
• Conduct complete credit analyses by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting credit information on existing and prospective customers
• Review customer accounts and portfolios to identify, evaluate, and determine appropriate action on potential credit quality issues
• Maximize credit quality while minimizing risk and potential loss to the company
• Use technological tools and computer software to assist in credit analysis of individual credits or portfolios
• Compare and evaluate possible courses of action and make recommendations and/or decisions

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically six or more years of relevant experience
• Strong credit analysis and analytical skills
• In-depth knowledge of credit analysis, credit administration, credit policy and procedures, and risk analysis
• Background in economics, accounting, and/or finance
• Effective technical report writing skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages

Demonstrates expertise in credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial evaluation, with a strong ability to communicate findings effectively. Proficient in utilizing technological tools for comprehensive credit assessments and decision-making.
