Overall PurposeThis position is responsible for managing risk platforms, models, rules, and liaising with adjacent groups that are affected by the risk platform. This position is the primary contact and escalation point for the management of risk results, and for risk vendor requirements, and Risk Operation's needs from the platform.
Essential Functions- Assesses risk signals, rules, models, and systems, participating in building out internal EW risk capabilities
- Develops recommendations and requirements for the risk platform
- Works with fraud product vendors to request enhancements and remedy issues with their products / services
- Works as a lead with Product to coordinate Risk Services work and future product needs / road map
- Works with Fraud Operations to tune the system, find new signals and rules, elicit needs, and create requirements around them
- Assesses new fraud vendor technologies for possible incorporation into the EW systems
- Contributes to the Risk Services roadmap
- Works with EW Technology / Architecture to coordinate, plan, and guide Tech/Risk interfaces with full autonomy
- Monitors and reports on risk system performance and provides recommendations from the findings
- Support the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data
- Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science or related field
- 10 or more years' of relevant experience in fraud and risk-related positions
- Strong Risk Analytics and Risk Strategy Management experience
- Demonstrated ability manage risk models, including analyzing results, reporting, and tuning to enhance results
- Strong Product Management experience.
- Detailed knowledge of industry risk management capabilities, tools and models.
- Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and effective leadership skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
- Background and drug screen.
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers.
Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.

The base pay scale for this position in Phoenix, AZ/ Chicago, IL in USD per year is: $129,000 - $161,000. New York, NY/ San Francisco, CA in USD per year is: $154,000 - $193,000. Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
