The Water Program and Policy Analyst researches and analyzes water resources planning and forecasting and demand side management performance tracking to assist in strategic planning of the city's water resources portfolio. Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate's experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $/annually.
Minimum QualificationsEducation and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, urban planning, engineering, geology, hydrology, public policy, sustainability, natural resources management, or related field.
- Five years of experience in progressively responsible decision-making roles related to water resources planning, government policy, conservation, research or analysis work.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or job-related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted.
Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements:
- Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during their active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved for remote work.
