Talent Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and operationally rigorous HR Generalist to own and execute critical employee lifecycle processes across Global R&D. This role is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, process compliance, and timely execution of workforce processes. The ideal candidate brings deep Workday fluency, strong cross-functional partnership skills, and a mindset focused on leveraging AI and automation to streamline processes.
You will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, colleagues within People Operations, and employees, balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on delivery — always embodying Axon’s values in every decision and interaction.
- Support leaders and projects in execution of global People Operations programs and initiatives.
- Provide front line support to managers and leaders in onboarding, offboarding, employee relations, performance management, and special initiatives.
- Act as a superuser for HR and compliance systems and steward of employee data; generating and analyzing reports with a high level of data integrity.
- Provide insights and ideas to automate and continuously improve HR processes which enhance the employee experience.
- Coach and advise leaders on employee relations best practices and proactive risk mitigation.
- Lead and embed initiatives to integrate AI and automation into HR workflows.
- Where needed, support conflict resolution, employee counseling, and conduct exit interviews.
- 5+ years of HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Program Management experience.
- Experience leading or significantly contributing to AI, HRIS, or process automation initiatives (e.g., Workday, Service Now, Chatbots, or HR analytics tools).
- Strong understanding of employee lifecycle processes
- Experience supporting global organizations preferred
- High attention to detail with strong data governance orientation
- Ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Curious about technology and passionate about innovation in HR. Willingness to push the boundaries of the possible.
- Proactive, focused and delivery oriented.
- Strong analytics, familiarity with data analysis; advanced Excel and Work Day experience a plus
- Understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, compliance regulations.
- Thrives in cross-functional collaboration, embodying Axon’s Join Forces approach to solving challenges.
Location: Hybrid presence based out of either of our Axon hub locations in Seattle or Scottsdale. This role follows a hybrid schedule. We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.
