Talent Acquisition Specialist

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for various departments and positions within our organization. You will collaborate with hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership to ensure that we continue to build a talented and diverse workforce in alignment with our company's goals and values.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

• Partner with department heads and hiring managers to identify staffing needs and understand the requirements for various positions.
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our company culture and values to identify candidates who will be a good fit.
• Create and execute recruitment strategies to attract a diverse pool of candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.

Candidate Sourcing and Assessment:

• Conduct in-depth candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit.
• Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, providing timely communication and feedback.
• Administer pre-employment tests and background checks as necessary.

Selection and Offer Management:

• Collaborate with hiring managers to make informed hiring decisions.
• Extend employment offers and negotiate terms with selected candidates.
• Ensure a smooth transition for candidates joining our organization by coordinating the onboarding process.

Compliance and Documentation:

• Maintain accurate records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
• Stay current with California labor laws and regulations to ensure our recruitment processes remain compliant.

Reporting and Analysis:

• Generate and present recruitment metrics and reports to HR leadership and management to track the effectiveness of our hiring efforts.
• Continuously identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process and implement best practices.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proven experience as a corporate with an understanding of the local talent market.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices.
• Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other HR software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Four-year degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 15 pounds. Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.
