This role will be responsible for defining customer requirements, and designing, configuring and testing of BLUE YONDER products, and supporting customers’ activities toward cutover in Japan.

Blue Yonder Japan is currently seeking Solution Architect of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
*
* What You’ll Do:

** Lead the overall solution and implementation in functional perspective by understanding how the solutions can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes, ensuring ability to design, execute and deliver.
** Solution Design
*** Understand and provide recommendations on overall supply chain execution solution architecture, requirements, end-to-end workflows and integrations with counter systems such as ERP
* Leads business diagnostics, process analysis and/or design workshops to clarify as-is and to-be solution state and ultimately writes a solution design document to support business requirements.
* Create functional specifications (detailed design documents) to describe how solution is configured at data, database, and application levels, which are confirmed by BY’s technical counterpart
** Development and Test
*** Configure and test designed solution
* Create system integration test plan and scripts to confirm if the solution is developed and configured as designed
* In UAT, support customer to prepare UAT plan and scenario for end-to-end business operation testing in BLUE YONDER solution perspective.
* If design changes are required, raise CR and communicate details with customers and internal project team members
* When solution bugs are identified or enhancements are required, communicates with Support and Product Development team to address them.
** Cutover and Post Golive Stabilization
*** Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team and BY Support and Cloud Operations teams
* Support stabilization of customer’s business operation
** Throughout project implementation
*** Provide advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.
* Communicate project risks and escalate issues, which surface and cannot be quickly resolved, that may have a negative impact on the project schedule, scope or budget
* Assists Project Managers in planning efforts including detailed project plan task detail (work breakdown structure) based on the specific phase/need of the project.
** What we are looking for:
**** Experience of working in Supply Chain business
*** 5+ years of specific experience for any of Logistics, TMS, and WMS for customers
* Good understanding of E2E execution workflows, architecture, integration, and project lifecycle with ability to define implementation plan, identify cross functional dependencies
** Project implementation experiences in Supply Chain domain (preferred)
*** Experience of relevant solutions consulting and implementation with other leading supply chain solutions such as SAP
* Ability to drive discussions on both functional processes and technical concepts in a language that can be understood across a diverse audience and multiple levels within customer’s/BY organization
* Preferably have experience of WMS workflow integration with WCS, warehouse automation and robotics technology /partners.
* Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with customers and partners.
** Communication
* ** Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required in Japanese
* Verbal and writing English skills needed mainly for internal communication with BY members outside Japan
** Other
* ** Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently effectively and proactively.
** Learning opportunities
*** If the candidate has less/no experience of BLUE YONDER products and implementation, BY will provide product training for better understanding and shadowing actual implementation activities in real projects
