Cloud Strategy Consultant – Slalom

We are looking for an experienced professional to provide cloud advisory services across our clients, helping them adopt, transform and optimize cloud operations in a fast‑paced environment.

As a modern technology company, our technologists are passionate about building strategies, solutions, and creative products to solve complex business problems. You'll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including IT, security, and business units.

• Provide strategic guidance on cloud adoption and transformation.
• Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of cloud solutions.
• Provide technical guidance on industry‑leading best practices.

• Cloud Strategy: operating models, org structures, roadmaps, build vs. buy decisions.
• Cloud Cost Management:
  Fin Ops, forecasting, chargeback, cost optimization.
• Cloud Governance: governance structures, process improvement, auditing & logging, CCoE, ARB, automation.
• Cloud Operations: observability strategy, SRE optimization, business continuity, incident management, automation.
• Migration Readiness: assessments, planning, roadmaps, wave planning, dependency mapping.

• 5+ years of experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proven expertise in at least two of the five categories above.
• Experience as a cloud leader, cloud advisory consultant, or similar role.
• Deep understanding of challenges faced by cloud and development teams.
• Strong knowledge of industry‑leading practices and technologies.
• Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Target base salary ranges:
Senior Consultant $120,000–$169,000 (Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, San Diego, Washington DC, New York, New Jersey) or $110,000–$155,000 (other markets). Principal level $133,000–$187,000 (Boston, Houston, Los Angeles, Orange County, Seattle, San Diego, Washington DC, New York, New Jersey) or $122,000–$172,000 (other markets). Eligible for annual discretionary bonus and competitive benefits, including paid time off, 401(k), health/dental/vision, parental leave, and wellness stipend.
