Job SummaryWe are seeking a mid-level Systems Engineer with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure infrastructure to support and maintain our cloud-first environments. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands‑on technical work across Azure infrastructure, networking, identity, and Microsoft cloud services, while collaborating closely with senior engineers and cross‑functional teams. This is a full‑time role based out of the Troon corporate headquarters in Scottsdale and may require occasional travel for business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy, support, and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, and Azure Virtual Networks (VNets).
- Administer Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, VPN connectivity, private endpoints, and load balancing services.
- Manage identity and access using Azure Active Directory (Entra ), RBAC, Conditional Access, and MFA.
- Monitor system performance, availability, security, and cost using Azure‑native tools.
- Participate in infrastructure projects such as cloud deployments, upgrades, and platform improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, networking, and identity‑related issues.
- Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver secure, reliable cloud solutions.
- 3–6 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or cloud operations.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services.
- Practical experience with Azure Virtual Networks and cloud networking concepts.
- Working knowledge of Azure Active Directory (Entra ) and Microsoft 365 services.
- Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and cloud‑based identity.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and work independently on assigned tasks.
- Experience with Azure monitoring, security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Hands‑on experience using Power Shell and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks, improve consistency, and support infrastructure operations.
- Exposure to Microsoft Intune

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to sit/stand/look atcomputerforlong periodsof time.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 40 lbs (e.g., servers, switches, UPS units etc..)
