Under direct supervision, troubleshoots less complex technical issues and coordinates their resolutions with senior team members.
Essential Functions- Identify, research, and resolve basic level‑two issues and known problems for internal users.
- Provide two‑factor token support.
- Provide iPhone and MiFi support.
- Work efficiently utilizing a ticketing system that must be kept current with full disposition details.
- Perform supervised administration and maintenance of Active Directory users and groups.
- Track, monitor and coordinate with senior technicians to ensure timely resolution of problems.
- Communicate courteously and effectively with end users during the problem resolution process.
- Support the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
- Stay current on the latest industry technologies, trends and strategies.
- Complete work in a timely and accurate manner while providing exceptional customer service.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of one year of experience supporting customers as a desktop support technician or related IT experience.
- One year of experience performing first‑level troubleshooting of WAN/LAN, VPN connections, and desktops.
- Working knowledge of Windows
10 Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange Administration tools, Microsoft Office Suite applications, and software installations. - Basic knowledge of Microsoft Network Infrastructure and Architecture layout.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify problems, review information, and evaluate options.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills with attentive listening and active problem identification.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Efficiently work independently, meet deadlines, present a professional demeanor, and handle pressure.
- Strong organization skills, multi‑tasking and project management to meet varying deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Customer service skills with a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to manage different customer situations.
- Troubleshooting, organizational and problem‑solving skills with a can‑do attitude and flexibility to adjust to changing requirements.
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. National only. Background and drug screen required.
Employee must be able to perform essential functions and physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. The work is primarily sedentary, requiring extensive use of a computer and sitting for approximately four hours. Standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching to identify asset information on fixed hardware are also required. Lifting up to 50pounds occasionally and/or negligible force frequently.
Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
