ServiceNow Platform Administrator

The Service Now Platform Administrator serves as the technical lead responsible for the health, performance, and operational integrity the Service Now instance. This role requires deep expertise in Service Now architecture, system administration, and security protocols specific to air-gapped networks.

• Manage platform upgrades and patch deployments following strict change control procedures
• Configure and maintain system properties, email, integrations, scheduled jobs, and platform security settings
• Implement and enforce access controls, user roles, and authentication mechanisms compliant with security policies
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability metrics; proactively address bottlenecks and issues
• Develop and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures
• Lead incident response for platform-level issues and participate in change advisory board (CAB) processes
• Provide technical guidance and training to other team members and end users
• Maintain compliance with federal security standards including NIST, FedRAMP, or DoD requirements as applicable

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) required
• 5+ years Service Now platform administration experience
• Experience with air-gapped or classified networks strongly preferred
• Active security clearance
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes and IT service management principles

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field AND 5+ years of job-related experience
• OR a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
• Agile experience preferred.

This position can be hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office or on-site full time.
