The Project Manager (PM) provides day-to-day leadership and oversight for a technical support services team responsible for the operations, sustainment, and enhancement of Microsoft 365 (M365) and SharePoint Online (SPO) solutions, associated reporting/analytics, and related support functions. The PM serves as the primary interface for contract and project administration, ensuring predictable delivery, quality, and stakeholder alignment across multiple concurrent work streams.

The PM establishes and maintains execution plans, reporting cadence, and performance tracking to support successful outcomes with minimal customer intervention.

Responsibilities:

Provide overall day-to-day management of the program, serving as the primary point of contact for project and contract administration matters.

Develop and maintain a Project Management Plan (PMP) aligned to scope, schedule, quality, cost, staffing, and risk management expectations; maintain a change control log.

Lead project planning and execution across multiple work streams, including support operations, enhancement requests, documentation, and reporting.

Establish and manage schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies; track progress and resolve impediments.

Facilitate recurring status/progress meetings; prepare agendas, track action items, and communicate decisions and next steps.

Produce and deliver executive-ready monthly status reports that summarize completed work, ongoing activities, upcoming work, issues/risks, mitigation strategies, and resource impacts.

Oversee transition and knowledge transfer activities, including staffing readiness, onboarding, and continuity-of-operations planning; ensure minimal disruption during transition-in/out activities.

Coordinate quality control processes to ensure deliverables are complete, accurate, timely, and aligned to requirements; ensure documentation is maintained and updated as changes are implemented.

Manage staffing and workload allocation; coordinate surge support when needed and maintain continuity of services.

Ensure deliverables and documentation are compliant with Section 508 accessibility requirements, as applicable.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience managing complex technical support and/or application sustainment efforts, including coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent priorities.

Strong ability to create and maintain actionable project plans, schedules, and status reporting suitable for executive audiences.

Experience implementing practical quality control practices for deliverable review, testing coordination, and defect prevention.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including facilitation of meetings and clear written reporting.

Working knowledge of M365 and SharePoint Online environments and how teams deliver support, enhancements, and documentation within those ecosystems.

Ability to manage transition activities, knowledge transfer, and continuity-of-operations planning.

Ability to manage deliverables in a deadline-driven environment with shifting priorities.
