IT Operations Specialist

Expected compensation: 54.34 USD Per Hour

Hire Art is helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company find an IT Operations Specialist to support the Technical Operations (Tech Ops) team within a real-time Fusion Center environment.

In this role, you’ll help document, analyze, and improve the technical workflows that support live operations. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, enhance operational efficiency, and create clear technical documentation that supports mission-critical systems.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and an effective communicator with hands-on technical experience and the ability to translate complex operational workflows into clear, actionable documentation.

• Shadow and document live operational workflows, system dependencies, and technical interactions.
• Map technical processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks.
• Partner with Operations, Dev Ops, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to streamline workflows and improve operational processes.
• Develop clear technical documentation, process maps, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong technical documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Hands-on experience in at least two of the following:
  • Windows workstation support
  • Real-time operations or command center environments
  • TCP/IP networking or systems administration
  • Web application or infrastructure troubleshooting
  • Mission-critical operations supporting real-time systems
• Ability to pass a background check to work within a secure facility

• 7+ years of relevant technical experience
• Experience working in a NOC, SOC, Fusion Center, or other 24/7 operations environment
• Familiarity with monitoring tools, cloud diagnostics, or automation platforms
• Experience collaborating with Dev Ops or infrastructure teams

This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. It will be onsite and available to candidates who are local to the Scottsdale, AZ area.
