Overview

Workday Procurement Expert

This is more than a job. It's a chance to build, grow, and make a real impact! Join our team as our new Workday Procurement Expert to support, optimize, and enhance our Workday Procurement and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.

The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in Workday Procurement and related Financial Management modules, with the ability to partner effectively with Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday Procurement, including Requisition s, Purchase Orders, Supplier Management, Receiving, and Supplier Invoices.
  • Configure and maintain Workday Procurement business processes, security, notifications, approvals, and integrations in collaboration with IT and Finance teams.
  • Partner with Procurement, Finance, Accounts Payable, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
  • Lead system enhancements, testing, release management, and post-production support for Workday Procurement functionality.
  • Analyze current P2P processes and recommend improvements to increase automation, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Support supplier onboarding and management processes within Workday.
  • Collaborate with integration teams to support inbound and outbound procurement-related interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support procurement operations.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, resolve user inquiries, and coordinate with Workday support when necessary.
  • Create and maintain documentation, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support audits and ensure procurement processes comply with internal controls and company policies.
  • Participate in Workday updates and feature evaluations to identify opportunities for optimization.
Qualifications
  • 3 years of hands‑on experience with Workday Procurement.
  • Workday certification in Procurement or related modules (preferred).
  • Experience with Workday integrations, EIBs, and reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Accounts Payable, Supplier Accounts, and Financials modules within Workday.
  • Experience working in global or multi‑entity organizations.
  • Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and ERP implementation projects.
