Senior Infrastructure Engineer - CMDB Discovery

We are the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Team, dedicated to delivering a single source of truth for IT assets and services across the enterprise. Our mission is to strengthen governance, discovery, and integration by leveraging advanced tools such as Service Now Discovery and driving innovation through initiatives such as cloud and asset discovery and AI-powered automation. • Lead Discovery & CMDB Integration:
  Implement and optimize Service Now Discovery to achieve comprehensive visibility of enterprise assets and applications.
• Drive Innovation:
  Pilot AI‑driven solutions to automate and enhance CMDB governance and discovery processes.
• Solve Complex Challenges:
  Provide expert‑level troubleshooting for critical production issues and ensure reliable system performance.
• Plan & Execute Enterprise Projects:
  Design and deliver major IT infrastructure initiatives, including new technologies and critical upgrades.
• Collaborate & Influence:
  Partner with IT teams and vendors to assess risks, resolve issues, and shape technical standards.
• Mentor & Elevate:
  Train and guide team members, sharing your expertise to build organizational capability.

• Operational Excellence:
  Strengthen CMDB governance and improve data accuracy to enable better decision‑making.

• Education & Experience:
  
  Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience, with 8+ years in technical specialties and 3–4 years in hardware/software configuration and troubleshooting.
• Technical Expertise:
  Deep knowledge of infrastructure design, cloud engineering, networking protocols (TCP/IP, ACCP), performance tuning, debugging, and enterprise IT platforms.
• Certifications:
  
  Relevant technical certifications or ability to attain within 9 months.
