General

Summary of Responsibilities:

Responsible for the conversion of home movie videotapes to digital formats using customized in-house hardware and software.

Manage workflow for assigned workstations for conversion of home movie videotapes.

Comparing and researching videotape content to see if we can improve on quality.

Analyze notes in our database for specific orders and determine the right workflow based on those notes.

Auditing every order to determine if the customer’s orders are completed and grouped accurately.

Staging of tapes for the next shift’s operators.

Troubleshooting tape functionality and performing minor repairs (e.g. splicing, replacing housings).Creating lists in Google Sheets or Excel to use for picking orders from our backlog.

Keep the work area organized and clean.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week Multiple shifts are available.

Starting pay is $17/hour with eligibility to earn a pay increase every 90 days at the end of the Quarter.

Overtime as required based on the Manager's discretion.

Qualifications:

Knowledge of various videotape formats (e.g. Beta, VHS, etc.) preferred

Knowledge of videotape equipment is preferred

Experience using Google Chrome, Gmail, and Open Office (preferred).Ability to Stand or walk for up to 8 hours.

Ability to lift 40 lbs. without physical restrictions.

Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, climb, and pull on a consistent basis.

Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.

Possesses a sense of urgency and comfort level to work in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrates clear and polite written and oral communication.

Accurately follow verbal and written instructions.

Adequate knowledge and experience using computer systems.

Must be able to lift, push and pull boxes up to 40lbsAbility to move up to 20lbs repetitively

Must be willing to adjust your work schedule due to workload and peak seasons
