We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Transaction Paralegal with 5-10 years of experience to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transactional matters, including review, analysis, drafting, and management of commercial contracts. The role will involve assisting senior attorneys and business stakeholders in connection with supporting a broad range of commercial initiatives. Currently, this is a hybrid remote/in-person position requiring at least two in-person days per week.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:- Drafting, reviewing, and assisting with a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, supplier, distribution, services, licensing, and other operational contracts.
- Analyze industry trends, case law and legislation and help execute mitigation plans as needed.
- Assist with other miscellaneous internal projects within the Legal Department.
SKILLS:
- Paralegal Certificate orPost-Baccalaureate Certificate in Paralegal Studies; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
- 5-10 years of relevant legal transactional experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
- Demonstrated experience drafting, reviewing, and assisting with the negotiation of commercial contracts, including vendor, services, supply, licensing, and other operational agreements.
- Strong transactional experience with the ability to manage matters from initial drafting through execution.
- Preferred experience in franchising, including franchise agreements, FDD-related matters, and franchise compliance.
- Preferred experience in procurement and supply chain contracting, including vendor negotiations and risk allocation.
- Experience with Excel, Outlook, and Microsoft Word required.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Skilled at collaborating, reasoning, reviewing facts and weighing options, with the ability to manage uncertainty and ambiguity.
- Ability to develop partnerships with a wide variety of team members/business leaders.
- Strong commitment to being a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision, prioritize multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly.
- Strong professional written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex matters, issues, and ideas.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
