Your ImpactThe Supply Chain Planning Manager will lead a team of Material Planners who manage all aspects of material support for their product lines by coordinating efforts with Manufacturing, Product, Sales, Sales Operations, and Logistics. The role is responsible for ensuring MRP utilization, creating inventory strategies, and collaborating with Strategic Sourcing to expedite materials as needed.
What You'll DoLocation: Scottsdale, Arizona (HQ)
Reports to: Global Planning Director
Direct Reports: 3
- Establish inventory strategies for raw material and finished goods based on quarterly forecasted demand per product line
- Ensure timely purchase order placement and hygiene to align incoming material with production and demand requirements
- Develop quarterly production plans and communicate production requirements to Manufacturing teams
- Work cross-functionally with Strategic Sourcing, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Product to align on sales demand requirements and material availability
- Develop backorder mitigation plans and manage communication with Sales Ops when backorders arise
- Own critical information such as forecasts, incoming deliveries, and projected demand throughout each quarter
- Verify MRP inputs and outputs
- Become subject matter expert for the designated product family
- BS in Supply Chain or related field
- 3‑5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, material planning, or related position
- Experience managing a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Persistent attention to detail
