- Set up and manage supplier performance measures (KPIs) for quality, delivery, cost, innovation, and sustainability
- Review supplier performance regularly and work with suppliers to improve results when needed
- Manage supplier scorecards and audits to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Identify ways to help suppliers improve their performance and capabilities
- Work with facility teams and suppliers to identify the causes of quality or delivery issues and implement corrective actions
- Partner with suppliers to improve processes and support continuous improvement efforts
- Work with sourcing teams to ensure supplier capabilities support business goals
- Support the selection and approval of suppliers for new programs or products
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that support long-term business objectives
- Maintain supplier backup and contingency plans to reduce business risk
- Monitor supplier performance trends and provide updates to leadership
- Provide input and documentation to support sourcing strategies
- Support initiatives to improve mailroom operations
- 4+ years of defining, managing and monitoring facility performance across multiple locations
- 4+ years developing, managing and executing new facility processes and programs across multiple locations
- 3+ years defining and driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Minimum 5 years’ work experience in facilities operations and corporate real estate management
- Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability
- Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop successful relationships with and influence customers, both internal and external
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, quality systems, and procurement processes
- Bachelors Degree required
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in the United States is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus
- Experience in a global matrix management organization is desirable
- Proficiency in data analysis and supplier performance tracking tools (Vantage, Tableau, Power BI) is preferred
