, one of the largest private country clubs in North America, is seeking a Spa Operations Manager to join our Sonoran Fitness Team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world-class club known for exceptional service, stunning surroundings, and a strong sense of community.
In this role, you will manage and maintain all amenities, facilities, and activities associated with the Sonoran Spa. You will also oversee onboarding and ongoing training for the Spa Reception, Sonoran Welcome Desks, and Boutique teams, working closely with Talent & Culture and the Spa Director. The Spa Operations Manager plays a key role in delivering world-class service, and elevated member experiences through operational excellence, seamless cross-departmental collaboration to enhance the Sonoran Clubhouse and advance the Club’s mission.
The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with the ability to create an inspiring and motivating team environment. 3 years of spa management experience required. Prior country club, hotel, or resort experience, and retail background preferred.
Requirements- Must be able to obtain a City of Scottsdale Massage Facilities License within 90 days of employment.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

- Assist the Spa Director in establishing and upholding standard operating procedures in accordance with Desert Mountain Club policies. This includes Spa Reception schedules, ensuring fair employment practices, team member uniforms, and enforcing clubhouse standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations for team members as needed. Responsibilities also include handling all aspects of employee relations including teammate engagement, recognition, and disciplinary actions.
- Collaborate with the Director of Spa and Director of Sonoran to develop a training program for Sonoran Welcome Desk, Sonoran Boutique and Spa Receptionist that focuses on service excellence, front of house operations and member FAQs.
- Manage inventory and cost control by overseeing purchasing, receiving, internal transfers, and ensuring merchandise levels align with member demand and operational needs.
- Provide administrative support to the Director of Spa.
- Maintain all lockers, ensuring that they are in good working condition and there is plenty of availability for member use.
- Manage all spa reception operations, ensuring proper opening, closing and daily procedures are being followed, and members are being greeted and treated in accordance with Desert Mountain standards.
- Manage all POS issues including voids, mis-rings and assist accounting with any issues they may have pertaining to spa.
- Enforce all the club rules, regulations, and spa reservations policy.
- Actively monitor all member services to ensure standards of operation constantly meet or exceed the presently established guidelines, including meet and follow-up with all member issues and suggestions.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by members and guests, ensuring complete satisfaction.
- Attend and participate in required meetings, training and member engagement activities.
- Collaborate with the Spa Director on appropriate and effective channels to promote Spa specials, products and events.
- Other duties as assigned by Director of Spa.
