Labor Scheduler

The Labor Controller is responsible for daily labor coordination and field workforce logistics across multiple active construction projects. This role ensures the right trade crews are assigned to the right jobs at the right time, tracks daily crew locations, supports schedule adherence, and maintains accurate labor records using Buildertrend. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in coordinating multiple trades in a fast-paced general construction environment.

• Coordinate and assign trade crews to active job sites based on project schedules and priorities.
• Track and manage daily crew locations, manpower levels, and work assignments.
• Confirm labor availability, start times, and job readiness.
• Resolve labor conflicts, shortages, and schedule changes.

• Serve as the primary coordination point between Project Managers, Superintendents, and Trades.
• Monitor job progress and adjust labor deployment.
• Communicate real-time changes and reallocate crews as needed.

• Maintain accurate schedules, daily logs, and labor assignments in Buildertrend.
• Update task statuses, dates, and crew notes.
• Support standardized scheduling workflows.

• Track labor distribution and productivity.
• Provide labor and scheduling reports to leadership.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

• 2+ years of experience in construction coordination or scheduling.
• Experience managing multiple trades.
• Buildertrend experience preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.

• $80,000 annual salary

• Advancement into Senior Scheduler, Project Coordinator, Operations Manager, or Project Management roles
• Ongoing training and professional development
